Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician or technician trainee preferred
- Luxury, European, or franchise dealership experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment and manufacturer-specific software
- Commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated with a desire to continuously learn and grow
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, and drivability systems
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools, special service equipment, and manufacturer technology platforms
- Perform vehicle inspections and identify additional maintenance or repair needs
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and teammates to ensure a seamless client experience
- Provide accurate estimates for additional repairs and maintenance recommendations
- Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
- Test-drive vehicles and verify completed repairs for quality assurance
- Maintain manufacturer certifications and stay current with evolving automotive technologies
- Contribute to a positive, high-performance team environment focused on excellence and accountability
