About The Position

Hyundai Southtowne, a Ken Garff Automotive Dealership, is seeking an Automotive Service Technician who aligns with the company’s values of respect, integrity, growth, humility, and teamwork. The role performs dealership-standard vehicle repairs, diagnosis, inspections, and quality control while communicating additional recommendations or repair-time needs to the Service Advisor. Technicians use the dealership’s Dealer Management System and complete assigned training. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Must have a valid in-state driver’s license and a good driving record, per company standards.

Nice To Haves

Prior automotive technician or mechanic experience.
ASE or dealership manufacturer certifications.

Responsibilities

Perform efficient, expert work on repair orders in accordance with dealership, state, and factory standards.
Diagnose and repair customers’ primary concerns and perform quality control to meet “Fixed First Visit” expectations.
Complete the Ken Garff Electronic Multi Point Inspection and a video inspection on every vehicle.
Immediately notify the Service Advisor if additional recommendations are identified or more time is needed to complete a repair.
Use the Dealer Management System for work distribution, electronic inspections, repair quotes, communication, and timekeeping.
Complete required training as assigned.
Maintain cleanliness throughout the workspace and in customer vehicles.
