Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years of experience as an automotive technician or technician trainee
Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
Willing to submit and pass pre-employment background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

Performing work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies
Test driving vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems
Communicating directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
Providing estimates of time needed for additional repairs
Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
