About The Position

Dave Sinclair Buick GMC Dealership is hiring Automotive Technicians, including Journeyman, Master Technician, A and B Level Service Technicians. This is a Union Shop that offers one of the area’s best total compensation packages. The business is family owned and operated since 1966 and values its customers and employees.

Requirements

MO State Safety Inspection License
Automotive Technician/Mechanic experience – amount depends on position for which applying
Ability to diagnose and repair with little to no oversight and 100% accuracy in repair on the first time
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to operate all auto repair tools skillfully, including current diagnostic tools and equipment

Nice To Haves

ASE certification desirable

Responsibilities

Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair
Perform extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the cause(s) of customers’ concerns and provide accurate repair recommendations
Mentor and coach less experienced automotive technicians/mechanics
Assist fellow technicians to become efficient and effective
Keep workspace clean and safe to ensure safety and equipment longevity

Benefits

Starting flat rate pay at $35/hour – with a potential to increase to $60 per hour with Efficiency Bonus Opportunities
