About The Position

Knudtsen Foothills is growing and hiring for Technicians, including Master Level, A-Level Diagnostic Technicians and B-Level General Repair Technicians. We offer career paths, compensation plans, and support structures designed for your skill level. We are looking for individuals with excellent customer service and communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to pass pre-employment testing, background check, and drug screening. The role requires excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. The work environment is a fast-paced automotive service environment with typical work weeks of 45-50 hours and frequently loud noise levels. Requirements

  • Master Level: 4-10 years of technician experience preferred.
  • Master Level: Strong diagnostic confidence across multiple vehicle systems.
  • Master Level: Ability to diagnose driveability concerns, electrical faults, and intermittent issues.
  • Master Level: Ability to perform complex repairs efficiently and accurately.
  • Master Level: Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • A-Level: 4-8 years of technician experience preferred.
  • A-Level: Strong diagnostic confidence across multiple vehicle systems.
  • A-Level: Ability to diagnose driveability concerns, electrical faults, and intermittent issues.
  • A-Level: Ability to perform complex repairs efficiently and accurately.
  • A-Level: Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • B-Level: 3+ years of technician experience preferred.
  • B-Level: Experience with diagnostics, electrical systems, and engine repair.
  • B-Level: Strong repair and maintenance skills.
  • B-Level: Desire to learn and advance technical abilities.
  • B-Level: Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers and dealership personnel.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment testing, background check, and drug screening (marijuana is not included in our pre-employment screening process).
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics, complex repairs, and vehicle performance assessments (Master Level).
  • Solve challenging issues and deliver outstanding service (Master Level).
  • Diagnose complex issues, perform electrical troubleshooting, driveability repairs, and complex system repairs (A-Level).
  • Perform repairs, maintenance, and basic diagnostics (B-Level).
  • Work effectively with customers and dealership personnel.
  • Pass pre-employment testing, background check, and drug screening.
