Requirements

  • Previous automotive technician experience preferred
  • Dealership or repair shop experience is a plus
  • Experience with vehicle diagnostics preferred
  • Ford experience or factory training is helpful but not required
  • Missouri State Vehicle Inspector license (or ability to obtain after hire) preferred
  • ASE certifications are a plus
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Must have basic tools
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Team-oriented attitude with willingness to learn
  • Must pass background check, MVR check, and drug screening

Responsibilities

  • Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and other routine maintenance services
  • Inspect and replace filters, belts, batteries, and wiper blades as needed
  • Conduct multi-point inspections on customer and pre-owned vehicles
  • Inspect used vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and safety concerns
  • Diagnose vehicle issues using scan tools and recommend necessary repairs
  • Perform repairs on brakes, suspension, engine components, and other systems as needed
  • Complete module updates and reprogramming when required
  • Test drive vehicles after repairs to ensure proper operation
  • Accurately document inspections, repairs, and maintenance performed
  • Communicate repair needs and timelines with service advisors, managers, and sales staff
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following dealership and OSHA standards
