Requirements
- 2+ years of dealership technician experience -- luxury brand experience welcome from any premium marque including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Lexus, Volvo, Land Rover, or similar
- Strong diagnostic foundation -- able to work through multi-system problems methodically and accurately
- Comfortable with dealer diagnostic platforms -- XENTRY, STAR, or equivalent luxury brand diagnostic experience considered
- Low comeback rate and a personal standard for quality that doesn't require managing
- Physically capable of performing the demands of the role -- lifting, bending, and standing throughout the shift
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- A craftsmanship mindset -- you take pride in every repair that leaves your bay
Nice To Haves
- ASE certifications a strong plus
- Mercedes-Benz factory certifications highly valued but not required
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicles across a full range of systems -- engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, suspension, HVAC, and beyond -- using Mercedes-Benz diagnostic platforms and OEM procedures
- Perform multi-point inspections and develop accurate repair plans -- communicating findings clearly to service advisors to support guest authorization
- Execute repairs to manufacturer specifications with speed, accuracy, and zero shortcuts
- Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently -- documenting all work performed and parts used with precision
- Stay current on Mercedes-Benz technical service bulletins, software updates, and evolving repair procedures
- Perform test drives to validate diagnostic conclusions and confirm repair quality before vehicle return
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation that reflects the standard of the Mercedes-Benz brand
- Contribute to a shop culture where quality, accountability, and craftsmanship are the baseline
