Automotive Service Technician with a focus on Heavy Body Restoration at Revology Cars handle a broad range of restoration and assembly work. This is a multi-skilled role that requires confidence working across the entire vehicle, with close attention to both performance and appearance.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in heavy collision repair, custom car builds, automotive repair, diagnostics, and/or restoration.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must have successfully completed a technical program in auto body repair or have equivalent experience in automotive body, restoration, mechanical, and/or electrical work.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to use, or willingness to learn to use, an iPad.
  • A paid work test will be required to demonstrate your skillset and allow our team to evaluate your skills, techniques, and abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Weld, fit, gap, and finish body panels to precise quality standards.
  • Use metalworking techniques to shape and repair panels accurately without warping or excessive filler.
  • Prepare vehicle surfaces for paint through blocking, sanding, masking, primer application, wet sanding, and buffing.
  • Install and align doors, fenders, hoods, fascias, bumpers, windows, trim, moldings, and related components to tight tolerances.
  • Adjust doors and windows to meet gap specifications, eliminate wind noise, and ensure watertight fitment.
  • Install and assemble powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, driveshafts, rear axle assemblies, fuel systems, and exhaust systems.
  • Install powertrain electronics, control modules, and wiring harnesses.
  • Install and assemble chassis components, including suspension, steering, and brakes.
  • Perform powertrain service, troubleshooting, and general mechanical maintenance, including fluid checks, cooling system service, and final quality checks.
  • Install and assemble automotive interior components.
