About The Position

Victory Automotive Group is seeking an outgoing and dependable Automotive Service Porter to greet customers arriving at the service department and help ensure a smooth transition to a Service Advisor. The role includes moving customer vehicles around the lot and service areas, keeping vehicles clean and damage-free, and assisting with cleaning and custodial duties in the shop and lot. The position requires working in a non-climate-controlled environment and being able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

Valid, unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
Professional, dependable, safety-oriented, and customer-service-oriented.
Basic computer and internet skills.
Outstanding communication skills.
Professional appearance and work ethic.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
Ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.
Willingness and ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
Ability to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles.

Responsibilities

Greet customers entering the service area with a friendly, professional attitude; answer questions and direct them to the appropriate person or location.
Install disposable protective coverings, such as seat covers, steering-wheel covers, and floor mats, and tag vehicles brought in for service.
Park vehicles and deliver their keys and repair orders to the appropriate Service Advisor.
Retrieve vehicles for customers, meet them at the vehicle, and thank them for their business.
Follow safety and security procedures.
Attend staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
