About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department operations. The ideal candidate will oversee daily workflow, drive profitability, maintain high customer satisfaction, and ensure efficient repair operations. This leadership role bridges communication between customers, service advisors, and technicians while promoting a positive, productive, and safety-focused environment. The Automotive Service Manager is responsible for departmental performance, technician development, customer retention, and achieving key operational goals. An Automotive Service Manager directs the daily operations of a repair department, ensuring profitability, high customer satisfaction, and efficient workflow. Key responsibilities include hiring and training technicians, managing budgets, monitoring KPIs, and resolving customer complaints. They bridge the gap between technical staff and customers to ensure quality service and compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years in automotive repair/service, with previous management experience.
  • Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and industry trends.
  • Exceptional customer service, leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Familiarity with service management software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office.
  • High school diploma required

  • A bachelor's degree in business or automotive technology is preferred.
