About The Position

An Automotive Service Manager manages the Repair Shop and handles customer service interactions, reports, and repairs. The service manager ensures excellent customer service, maintains strong relationships with customers and third-party vendors and ensures repeat customers. Service Managers are a pivotal role in the Ice Cold Air Discount Auto Repair company. They are expected to increase gross shop sales and profits. Ice Cold Air Discount Auto Repair is a FL Based Automotive Repair Franchise with 14 locations throughout Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando and Citrus Counties. We specialize in Automotive Repairs on All Makes and Models of Automobiles. All locations are independently owned and operated.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales is a crucial requirement for this job.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with clients.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Must have experience as an automotive technician as you will be leading, mentoring, and training the shop technicians.
  • Must be able to manage people and processes.
  • Must be emotionally mature and able to diffuse tense situations.
  • Must have a positive disposition and love taking care of people.
  • Takes pride in their job and is looking to be a part of a winning team.
  • Computer literacy is required.
  • Proven Track Record in Sales
  • Service Writing Experience
  • People Management Experience
  • Ability to Relocate to Tampa, FL before starting work (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Independent Repair shops
  • 3-5 years as an automotive technician
  • Strong background in automotive service and repairs

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the automotive service center
  • Ensure that all customer needs and concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and profitability
  • Manage and train a team of service technicians and support staff
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of parts and supplies
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols
  • Perform quality control inspections of repairs and maintenance services
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on service center operations
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
