About The Position

Kunes Auto Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department team. In this role, you'll oversee daily service operations, manage and coach a team of technicians and service advisors, and ensure every customer receives an outstanding experience from check-in to pickup. Whether you're currently a service manager, service advisor, or ready to step into a leadership role, we provide the training and support to help you build a successful career.

Requirements

Prior automotive service management, service advising, or related dealership experience preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Proficient computer skills, including service management software
High school diploma or equivalent required
Solid math and analytical skills for estimates, billing, and reporting
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Manage the service department's daily workflow, scheduling, and staff to meet customer needs and business goals
Greet and communicate with customers regarding vehicle repairs, maintenance recommendations, and estimated timelines
Oversee accurate diagnosis of vehicle issues and ensure quality repairs are completed on schedule
Provide customers with clear, timely updates throughout the service process
Monitor department performance, customer satisfaction scores, and service revenue
Train, coach, and support service advisors and technicians
Maintain compliance with dealership, manufacturer, and safety standards
