About The Position

Mullinax Buick GMC is looking to fill the role of Service Manager, which is responsible for ensuring that customers receive excellent service. We are seeking a first-rate candidate to help take our busy service department to the next level and to join our multi-store enterprise. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required.

Requirements

Automotive Service Management experience
Ability to provide five-star customer service
Ability to set and achieve targeted goals
Team Leader (lead by example)
Results oriented
Problem solver with stability under pressure
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency with computer systems, MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), internet browsers, email functions and ability to learn new software
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record according to dealership guidelines
Must be able to pass background screening and drug test

Nice To Haves

Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Understanding customers’ needs to ensure customer satisfaction
Handle customer concerns quickly and professionally to maintain good customer relationships
Keep up to date with new products, features, accessories and attend product training as required
Direct, supervise, and monitor performance of all direct report employees
Attracting, developing, and retaining talent
Engaging and motivating the team to meet performance expectations and goals
Ensure all parts, tools, and equipment is available and up to date for all team members to complete work
Ensure all employee’s receive proper training
Track technician productivity
Responsible for the cleanliness and safety of the Service department
Complete weekly and monthly departmental payroll
Assisting other departments
Follow all Company procedures and standards
Other duties as assigned
