About The Position
Hertrich Family of Automobile Dealerships is hiring a full-time Service Shuttle Driver / Service Attendant to support the busy Service Department at Elkton CDJR. The role involves customer interaction, shuttle driving, moving vehicles, and helping keep dealership service areas clean, organized, and presentable. The listed hourly wage is $16–$18, based on qualifications. Hertrich is a family-owned and operated dealership group serving the Delmarva Peninsula and surrounding areas. The company has 24 dealerships, 18 automotive brands, and 15 collision centers, and describes itself as mission-driven with strong community involvement.
Requirements
- Customer-friendly, dependable, and professional attitude.
- Good communication skills.
- Neat, clean appearance.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license with little to no points on driving record.
- Ability to stay busy throughout the workday.
Responsibilities
- Shuttle service customers to and from the dealership.
- Assist Service Porters with vehicle movement as needed.
- Keep the service drive clear, organized, and presentable.
- Help clean serviced vehicles in the customer wash area.
- Move vehicles for Service and Sales operations.
- Assist with light cleaning of the service waiting area, showroom, or exterior, if needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
