About The Position

Kenny Kent Toyota Lexus is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Automotive Service Cashier to join our team. The Service Cashier serves as the final point of contact for customers after their vehicle service experience, ensuring accurate payment processing and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous cashier, customer service, or administrative experience.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

  • Automotive dealership or service department experience.
  • Experience using dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, etc.).
  • Knowledge of basic automotive service terminology.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process service repair orders and customer payments accurately.
  • Handle cash, credit card, financing, and warranty transactions.
  • Review repair invoices with customers and answer basic billing questions.
  • Schedule service appointments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and receipts.
  • Balance cash drawer and prepare daily deposits.
  • Assist with incoming phone calls and direct customers to the appropriate department.
  • Support service advisors and management with administrative tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized cashier and waiting area.
  • Ensure compliance with dealership policies and procedures.
