About The Position

Joseph Chevrolet, a family-owned and operated business, has been selling and servicing vehicles in the Cincinnati, Columbus, and Dayton Ohio areas for many years, growing to be one of Cincinnati's largest dealership groups and earning top recognition as one of the best Cincinnati Chevrolet dealers. The Automotive Service Advisor role involves overseeing service orders and the flow of the Drive Lane, ensuring prompt, courteous, and effective service for customers. The advisor is expected to take ownership of the customer's experience, provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, and ensure the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold. This position also includes answering technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs, maintaining a high Customer Success Index, overseeing warranty claims administration, and training/supervising the service department. The role requires reinforcing company policies, adhering to company standards, and encouraging compliance with applicable laws and regulations, while fostering positive employee relations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee service orders and flow of Drive Lane
  • Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service
  • Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer
  • Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandled
  • Ensure the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers
  • Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs
  • Maintain Customer Success Index at or above company standards
  • Oversee administration of warranty claims as well as training and supervising of service department
  • Reinforces company policies and adheres to company standards
  • Encourages compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Maintain good working relationships and foster positive employee relations
