About The Position

The Automotive Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department. This role is responsible for building relationships, identifying customer needs, recommending maintenance and repair services, and ensuring a seamless service experience from vehicle write-up through delivery. Successful candidates thrive in a fast-paced dealership environment and are passionate about customer satisfaction, sales performance, and long-term customer retention.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 Years of Automotive Service Advisor Experience
  • Automotive Dealership Experience Preferred
  • Proven Track Record of Customer Satisfaction and Sales Performance
  • Strong Communication and Relationship-Building Skills
  • Excellent Closing and Negotiation Abilities
  • Ability to Multi-Task in a Fast-Paced Environment
  • Professional Appearance and Positive Attitude
  • Valid Driver's License

  • Experience with CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, or Similar DMS Systems
  • Manufacturer Franchise Experience

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally
  • Build long-term customer relationships and loyalty
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high CSI scores
  • Communicate repair recommendations clearly and professionally
  • Maintain consistent customer follow-up throughout the service process
  • Resolve customer concerns quickly and effectively
  • Inspect customer concerns and recommend appropriate maintenance and repair services
  • Upsell manufacturer-recommended maintenance and additional services
  • Prepare accurate repair orders and service estimates
  • Explain parts, labor, and repair timelines to customers
  • Maximize customer-pay opportunities while maintaining trust and transparency
  • Coordinate workflow between customers, technicians, and management
  • Monitor repair progress and provide customer updates
  • Ensure repair orders are properly documented and completed
  • Maintain accurate records and customer information
  • Support departmental goals for productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction
