About The Position

Drive N-Motion in Rio Rancho, NM is looking to hire a full-time Automotive Service Advisor to guide our customers through the auto repair process. This auto repair position earns a competitive starting pay with commission that can boost your income over $65,000 each year. You will have access to over 5,000 internal customers who need service work, along with new leads/customers who visit our dealership on a daily basis. Requirements

  • 2 + years of experience as a service advisor at an automotive dealership or service center
  • Experience sourcing aftermarket parts
  • 21+ years of age
  • Driver's license, insurable driving record, and proof of insurance for your personal vehicle
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry objects over 50 lbs
  • Great communicator who can clearly explain complicated mechanical issues in terms a layperson will understand
  • Enjoy working with customers and providing excellent service
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and determine the issues they are experiencing with their vehicle.
  • Make service recommendations and help customers determine which repair options are best for their vehicle.
  • Clearly communicate mechanical issues in terms the customer can understand.
  • Write the repair order and communicate the required work to the technician.
  • Schedule appointments efficiently.
  • Source aftermarket parts.
