Lia Honda Albany - Automotive Service Advisor
About The Position
Lia Honda Albany is seeking experienced Service Advisors to join its team. The compensation range is $55,000–$100,000, based on production and knowledge. A sign-on bonus of up to $1,500 is available based on experience, training, and certifications. The Service Advisor oversees the drive lane, coordinates work among technicians, and helps ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service. The role includes communicating repair information and recommendations, answering customer inquiries in person and by phone, and ensuring technicians’ time is consistently sold to service customers. Lia Auto Group is an automotive group established in 1977, with 21 dealerships across New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts and more than 1,500 staff members. Requirements
- Experience as a Service Advisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Positive, friendly attitude and a customer-service mentality.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Clean and valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the flow of the drive lane and ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
- Take ownership of the customer experience by communicating repair information and technician recommendations to customers.
- Provide concierge support for owner inquiries, whether by phone or in person, to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Ensure the daily inventory of technicians’ time is consistently sold to service customers.
- Distribute work efficiently among technicians.
