About The Position

H&K Chevrolet Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team in New Haven, IN. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between our customers and the service department, ensuring a seamless and positive experience from vehicle drop-off to pick-up. You will be responsible for understanding customers' automotive needs, recommending appropriate services, and providing timely updates throughout the repair process.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in customer service within the automotive industry preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in using computer software and service management systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional automotive training is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Listen carefully to vehicle concerns and accurately document customer requests.
  • Schedule service appointments and communicate work estimates to customers.
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and quality repairs.
  • Follow up with customers on service status and completion.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues efficiently.
  • Maintain detailed records of customers’ vehicle service history.
