Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of prior Automotive Service Advisor experience in a dealership setting.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on problem-solving.
  • Commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • 18 years or older required
  • All potential employees must pass pre-employment testing including a background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of and comfort using CDK.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring an exemplary experience for the service customer by providing a prompt and friendly greeting, listening to their description of problems or services needed, preparing repair orders and being proactive, accurate and thorough in communication.
  • Serving as a liaison between customer and technician ensuring the customer’s needs are understood by the technician and the recommended service and/or repairs are understood by the customer.
  • Preparing accurate Repair Orders showing time, cost and labor estimates, verifying warranty and service contracts and reviewing with clients.
  • Promoting the sale of labor, parts and accessories by providing explanation of estimates and obtaining approval for work that is sold.
  • Following the progress of service repairs and providing customers with timely updates.
  • Ensuring high levels of customer service and retention by promptly addressing and resolving customer complaints.
  • Taking ownership of the customer's experience by completing extra tasks that contribute to leaving a positive impression at the dealership.
