About The Position

Chapman Chevrolet is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team and deliver exceptional service to every customer that entrusts us with their vehicle’s services. The Service Advisor helps customers understand their vehicle’s maintenance needs and is the customer’s main point of contact in the service department. Successful candidates are excellent communicators, self-motivated, and committed to creating positive customer experiences.

Requirements

  • Previous automotive service advisor/writer experience is required
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, both in person and over the phone
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals
  • Punctual and dependable with good attendance
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

  • Schedule, confirm and prepare for customer appointments, ensuring an efficient service experience
  • Determine vehicle needs based on customer feedback, vehicle inspection, and current mileage
  • Produce repair orders for customers, including cost and time estimates, with full transparency
  • Communicate regularly with technicians and parts associates to ensure timely completion of work
  • Follow-up with customers on the status of their vehicle and satisfaction of service
