About The Position

The Hertrich Family of Dealerships is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor / Assistant Service Manager to join their growing team at Hertrich Kia of Easton. This position offers high earning potential and career growth within a brand-new, state-of-the-art 14,000 sq. ft. facility featuring a 10-bay service shop, large showroom, and increased inventory, which translates to more service work and earning potential. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and driven to succeed in a busy, modern service department. Hertrich is a third-generation, family-owned dealership group operating 24 Dealerships, 14 Collision Centers, and 18 Automotive Brands. The company supports over 90 local charities and promotes a culture of growth, integrity, and excellence.

Requirements

• 2-3+ years Service Advisor / Writer experience (or 1+ year Assistant Service Manager experience)
• Strong customer service and sales skills
• Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Computer proficiency with service systems
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
• Flexible schedule (including Saturdays)
• High School Diploma or GED required

Nice To Haves

• Experience with upselling services is a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a top-tier service experience
• Schedule service appointments and manage incoming calls
• Advise customers on repair needs, costs, and timelines
• Coordinate with technicians and monitor repair progress
• Upsell recommended services to maximize customer value
• Ensure accurate repair orders and documentation
• Support daily service operations and assist management as needed
• Maintain strong customer relationships and follow-up
