About The Position

Mercedes Benz of McKinney is seeking motivated, customer-focused individuals with a genuine passion for helping people to join their team as an Entry-Level Sales / Customer-Focused Role. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided. This role is ideal for individuals with backgrounds in sales, hospitality, or customer service, or those looking to start a new career in the automotive industry. The annual income potential ranges from $50,000 to $175,000, based on performance. The company offers a comprehensive training program, a supportive team environment, opportunities for advancement, and hands-on experience in sales and customer interaction.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 2-3 years of high end luxury dealership sales experience.
  • Mercedes-Benz brand experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and guest experience.
  • Ability to sell a minimum quota according to dealership standards.
  • High end/luxury customer service and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize customer satisfaction by determining vehicle needs through active listening and consultative questioning.
  • Demonstrate vehicles, including test drives, and deliver vehicles while educating customers on features, warranty, and paperwork.
  • Establish personal income goals aligned with dealership productivity standards and develop strategies to achieve them.
  • Maintain current knowledge of inventory, features, accessories, and technological advances in Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
  • Manage prospect development and owner follow-up systems to encourage repeat and referral business.
  • Coordinate with the Sales Manager on objectives, activities, and performance reviews.
  • Collaborate with service and body shop departments to ensure vehicle reconditioning meets standards and timelines.
  • Understand automotive terminology, equity/value concepts, depreciation, and federal, state, and local auto sales regulations.
  • Connect customers with service department personnel to highlight dealership service quality and capabilities.
  • Attend sales meetings and manufacturer training to maintain professional development.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly performance reviews to optimize time management and planning effectiveness.
  • Comply with all company safety policies and immediately report accidents to management.
