About The Position

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and organized Automotive Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for customers and will play a key role in creating a positive first impression of our dealership/service center. As an Automotive Receptionist, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, managing appointments, and providing excellent customer service while supporting our administrative and operational team.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and manage a busy environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive services and products is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to handle customer inquiries and issues in a calm and efficient manner.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college education is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and professionally as they arrive at the dealership or service center.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Schedule appointments for vehicle service and sales inquiries, coordinating with the service and sales teams.
  • Assist customers with basic information about vehicle services, sales processes, and available promotions.
  • Maintain an organized reception area, ensuring it is clean, welcoming, and stocked with necessary materials.
  • Handle customer check-ins and check-outs for vehicle services, including processing payments and providing receipts.
  • Direct customers to appropriate departments or personnel when needed.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and managing office supplies.
  • Ensure all customer concerns are addressed promptly or escalated to the relevant department.
  • Manage the flow of visitors and deliveries to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Assist with basic clerical tasks, including handling mail, faxes, and emails.
