About The Position

Lunghamer Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Professional to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the automotive business, excel at building customer relationships, and possess a high level of motivation to sell. This role involves assisting customers throughout the entire vehicle purchasing process, from initial contact to post-delivery follow-up. The position requires a proactive approach to responding to leads, building a strong customer database, and staying informed about inventory, incentives, and product offerings. Collaboration with management and the BDC is key to maximizing opportunities and achieving sales goals, all while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

Previous automotive sales experience required
Proven ability to sell and close
Strong communication and follow-up skills
Comfortable working leads through phone, text, email, and CRM
Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented
Professional, outgoing personality
Strong customer-service mindset
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Dependable and ready to be part of a team

Responsibilities

Assist customers throughout the entire vehicle purchasing process
Respond quickly and professionally to internet, phone, and showroom opportunities
Build relationships that lead to repeat and referral business
Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives
Follow up consistently with customers and unsold prospects
Maintain an active customer database and complete CRM tasks
Stay knowledgeable on current inventory, incentives, programs, and products
Work closely with management and the BDC to maximize every opportunity
Meet and exceed individual and dealership sales goals
Deliver an exceptional customer experience before, during, and after the sale
