This role is for Automotive Sales Professionals for dealership locations in the Kansas City area, including BMW of Shawnee Mission Kia, Mini of Shawnee Mission, and Shawnee Mission Kia. The position is suited for motivated, customer-driven individuals who excel in a fast-paced, performance-based environment and seek reward for their results. The Automotive Sales Professional will guide customers through the entire vehicle-buying process, from initial inquiry to closing, ensuring a professional, transparent, and memorable experience. Training, support, and structure are provided for individuals with prior automotive sales experience or strong sales instincts from other industries. This is an opportunity for energetic, competitive individuals to earn, grow, and advance with dealerships known for quality vehicles and loyal customers.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience (automotive experience is a plus, not required)
  • Strong motivation to succeed in a commission-driven, performance-based environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude with a high-energy, customer-focused approach
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional appearance
  • Self-motivated, proactive mindset with a strong work ethic
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of employment and a good driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record (MVR), and drug screening

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate vehicles by explaining features, benefits, and warranties; conduct test drives and compare competitive models
  • Prospect daily for new customers and maintain relationships with previous buyers
  • Maintain high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.
  • Implement follow-up systems to encourage repeat and referral business
  • Stay informed on product updates, inventory, and accessories to better serve customers
  • Set and achieve personal sales goals aligned with dealership standards
