About The Position

We are seeking a high-performing, results-driven Automotive Sales Manager to lead our Acura Sales team, drive profitability, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is a proven closer, strong leader, and process-oriented manager, and expert in digital lead management with experience using CDK, E-Leads and managing both showroom and internet sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3 + years Automotive Sales Management experience (luxury/import experience preferred, Acura or Honda a plus)
  • Proven track record in sales leadership, desking, and deal closing.
  • Strong CDK and internet lead management experience.
  • Excellent follow-up and appointment-setting process skills.
  • High-level negotiation and closing abilities.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, sales metrics, and dealership operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
  • Results-driven with focus on gross, volume, and customer satisfaction.
  • A hands-on leader who can desk deals, close customers, manage people, work internet leads, drive process, and use tools to improve performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed monthly sales forecast, gross profit, and CSI objectives.
  • Desk deals, structure transactions, and assist sales consultants in closing opportunities at a high level.
  • Drive new and pre-owned sales performance while maintaining profitability and volume.
  • Monitor daily activity, appointments, sold units, and conversion metrics.
  • Conduct daily sales meetings and one-on-one coaching sessions with sales staff.
  • Support customers and assist in closing showroom and online opportunities.
  • Work deals effectively to maximize front-end gross while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Support negotiation and overcome objections to improve closing percentages.
  • Partner with F&I department to ensure seamless deal flow and strong product penetration.
  • Manage and improve internet lead response process, appointment setting, and lead conversion.
  • Ensure timely, professional follow-up on all digital inquiries.
  • Monitor CRM processes, lead aging, unsold follow-up and lost sales opportunities.
  • Develop and enforce strong follow-up processes for showroom traffic, internet leads, phone ups, and equity mining opportunities.
  • Improve lead-to-show and show-to-sold ratios.
  • Utilize CDK and CRM tools to manage customer data, reporting, and process compliance.
  • Maintain data integrity, reporting accuracy, and process compliance.
  • Track KPIs including lead response times, closing percentages, and salesperson productivity.
  • Use CDK tools to support desking, inventory management, and operational efficiency.
  • Recruit, train, and develop sales professionals.
  • Hold team accountable to process, performance standards, and customer experience expectations.
  • Foster a high-energy, high-accountability sales culture.
  • Train staff on follow-up, phone skills, digital communication, and closing techniques.
