About The Position

The Automotive Sales Lot Attendant is responsible for managing the flow of vehicles on the sales lot, including inventory management, logging new arrivals, and updating the fleet computer system. This role also involves lot merchandising, ensuring vehicles are presentable with correct pricing, buyer's guides, and frame plates. Responsibilities include parking and aligning cars, maintaining a presentable sales lot, and managing the back-overflow lot. The attendant will also shuttle cars to vendors, assist with dealer trades, and pick up customers. Additional duties include maintaining fuel logs and other reports as requested by the Location Manager, and filing reports.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• At least 20 years of age
• Flexibility in scheduling which may include nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to work any assigned shift
• Satisfactorily completed probationary period (for internal candidates)
• Excellent attendance and job performance (for internal candidates)

Responsibilities

• Control the flow of cars
• Inventory management: checking and logging in new arrivals and entering correct status in the fleet computer system
• Lot merchandising: ensuring vehicles are front line ready and have correct pricing stickers, buyers guide and frame plates
• Parking and aligning cars
• Maintaining a presentable sales lot
• Managing the back-overflow lot
• Shuttling cars to vendors
• Assisting with dealer trades
• Picking up customers when needed
• Assisting with maintaining fuel log and other reports requested by the Location Manager
• Filing reports as needed
