About The Position

The Automotive Sales Lot Attendant manages vehicle flow and inventory, prepares vehicles for the sales lot, and helps maintain an organized and presentable lot. The role includes logging arrivals and updating vehicle status in the fleet computer system, ensuring vehicles have the required pricing stickers, buyer’s guides, and frame plates, and managing the back-overflow lot. The attendant also shuttles vehicles to vendors, assists with dealer trades, and picks up customers when needed. Other duties include helping maintain the fuel log and requested reports, and filing reports as needed. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, be at least 20 years old, and be flexible to work any assigned shift based on operational needs, potentially including nights, weekends, and holidays. Internal candidates must have completed their probationary period satisfactorily and have excellent attendance and job performance. The position pays $16.00 per hour, with eligibility for incentives.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license.
At least 20 years of age.

For internal candidates: satisfactory completion of the probationary period, excellent attendance, and excellent job performance.

Responsibilities

Control the flow of cars and manage inventory, including checking and logging new arrivals and entering the correct status in the fleet computer system.
Merchandise the lot and ensure vehicles are front-line ready with correct pricing stickers, buyer’s guides, and frame plates.
Park and align cars and maintain a presentable sales lot.
Manage the back-overflow lot.
Shuttle cars to vendors, assist with dealer trades, and pick up customers when needed.
Assist with maintaining the fuel log and other reports requested by the Location Manager.
File reports as needed.
