About The Position

Manage the entire store inventory process including, reconditioning, photography, delivery, lot organization and merchandising. This role involves ensuring all incoming vehicles are properly checked in, triaging new inventory, managing an efficient reconditioning process (cost, quality, and cycle times), and working closely with reconditioning vendors and the Fleet Management partner (Wheels). The position also requires maintaining proper internal inventory controls, working with the fleet team to maintain target inventory levels, and collaborating with the GSM on daily production planning. Additionally, the role focuses on developing and maintaining proper lot organization for efficient processes, overseeing proper vehicle merchandising, creating a visual factory, ensuring all cars are properly photographed and appear online per standards, reducing rejects, and following up on open items on the partner dashboard. The Automotive Sales Inventory Manager will also handle communications from partners and ensure vehicles are delivered within time SLAs, arranging trucking if required.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience in Auto dealerships and car sales.
Valid Driver’s License and a clean record.
Capable of delivering.
Able to succeed in a global, matrix organization.
Desire to excel.
Able to garner support from Stakeholders on all initiatives.
Stable work history.

Responsibilities

Manage the entire store inventory process including, reconditioning, photography, delivery, lot organization and merchandising.
Ensure all incoming vehicles are properly checked in.
Triage new inventory as it enters the lot.
Manage an efficient reconditioning process, cost, quality and cycle times.
Work closely with reconditioning vendors.
Interact with Fleet Mgt partner (Wheels).
Maintain proper internal inventory controls.
Work with fleet team to maintain target inventory levels.
Work closely with GSM on daily production planning.
Develop and maintain proper lot organization to facilitate efficient processes.
Oversee proper vehicle merchandising.
Create visual factory.
Ensure all cars are properly photographed and appearing online per standards.
Reduce rejects and kicked cars.
Follow up and promptly close all open items on the partner dashboard.
Handle all communications from partners.
Ensure vehicles are delivered within time SLAs.
Set up trucking, if required.
