About The Position

Mercedes-Benz of New Orleans is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Sales Consultant to join our award-winning team. This position is ideal for a sales professional who is passionate about luxury automobiles, committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences, and driven to achieve sales success. As an Experienced Sales Consultant, you will assist customers throughout the vehicle purchasing process, helping them find the Mercedes-Benz vehicle that best fits their lifestyle and needs. You will be responsible for building lasting customer relationships, maintaining consistent follow-up, and utilizing our CRM system to meet daily activity and sales goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of automotive sales experience required.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review
• Background check
• Drug screening and physical

Nice To Haves

• Previous luxury automotive sales experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with the selection and purchase of new and pre-owned vehicles.
• Conduct vehicle presentations, demonstrations, and test drives.
• Build rapport with customers and provide a luxury-level sales experience.
• Maintain daily productivity standards utilizing the dealership CRM, including outbound calls, text messages, emails, and customer follow-up activities.
• Negotiate vehicle pricing, trade values, and financing options while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Complete all required sales documentation accurately and in compliance with dealership policies.
• Follow up with customers after delivery to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat and referral business.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities.
• Stay current on Mercedes-Benz products, features, incentives, and industry trends through ongoing training.
• Collaborate with management and fellow team members to achieve dealership sales goals and objectives.
