Requirements

  • Proven sales experience with excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and effective follow-up with clients before and after sales.
  • Current valid driver's license.
  • Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers on the sales floor and conduct needs analyses to understand their desired vehicle make, type, and features.
  • Explain vehicle features and demonstrate operation to customers.
  • Research vehicle availability and optional equipment using the dealership’s computer systems.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Finance & Insurance Managers to negotiate sales price, trade-in allowances, taxes, licensing fees, and financing or lease arrangements.
  • Inspect dealership inventory regularly by walking the lot.
  • Complete all necessary sales paperwork and coordinate vehicle delivery and registration.
  • Deliver vehicles and familiarize customers with their new vehicle’s operation and features.
  • Attend required training sessions and department meetings to stay updated on product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
