About The Position

Capital Ford of Charlotte is looking for an experienced Automotive Sales Consultant who enjoys working with people and delivering exceptional customer service. As a member of our sales team, you'll assist customers throughout their buying journey, provide product knowledge, and help them make informed purchasing decisions. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, results-oriented, and motivated by building relationships as much as achieving sales goals. A passion for vehicles and a customer-first mindset are key to success in this role.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Salesman or in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.
  • Basic computer skills for managing customer information and sales transactions.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must pass pre-employment background screenings

Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Understand customers' automotive needs and preferences to recommend suitable vehicles
  • Guide customers through the entire sales process, from initial contact to vehicle delivery.
  • Negotiate and close sales, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Stay updated on the specifications, features, and benefits of the vehicles in the dealership
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets set by the dealership.
  • Participate in sales training programs to enhance selling skills
  • Other duties assigned
