The Huffines Commercial and Fleet Sales & Leasing Consultant is a product knowledge expert. They provide a world-class buying experience from welcome to delivery by connecting with customers to assess their needs, providing recommendations for vehicle selection, demonstrating vehicle's safety and features, assisting with financing options, and completing the essential documentation to transact the sale.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years Fleet and Commercial leasing experience
  • Proven ability to work well in a process-driven environment
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with others and be a team player
  • Results-oriented self-starter
  • Unrestricted driver license and clean driving record
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to delivering world-class customer service
  • Demonstrated desire to learn new processes and adapt quickly
  • Proficiency in computer skills

Responsibilities

  • Greets, and offers assistance or direction to all customers who enter the dealership showroom or sales lot
  • Interviews customer to determine needs and wants
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all vehicles, accessories, up-fits, financing options and promotions
  • Engages with customers in person, by phone, and electronically
  • Explains vehicle features and performance, applications, and benefits to customers
  • Writes complete sales orders and processes paperwork following established dealership policies
  • Provides optional equipment available for customer purchase
  • Attends product and sales training courses and meetings
  • Prepares sold vehicles for customer delivery before customer arrival
  • Negotiates sale closure in a clear, concise, and highly ethical fashion
  • Follows up with customer purchases to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Establishes personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity and devises a strategy to meet those goals
  • Maintains a prospect development system
  • Performs other duties as assigned
