About The Position
You are a hardworking, customer-focused communicator who enjoys connecting with people and providing exceptional service. With strong phone etiquette, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn, you’re excited about starting or growing a career in the automotive industry—no prior automotive experience required. In this role, you’ll be responsible for reaching out to customers by phone, email, and text to schedule appointments with the sales team. You play a key role in creating a smooth, welcoming experience by connecting customers with the right people at the right time. The ideal candidate brings energy, professionalism, and a genuine desire to help customers every step of the way. You’ll join Tonkin Hillsboro Chevrolet, a dealership known for delivering an exceptional customer experience and providing a supportive environment where team members are trained, encouraged, and set up for long-term success.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a Reception, Call Center, or BDC Representative role is preferred
- Professional appearance and behavior
- Strong computer and phone literacy
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive, customer-focused attitude
- Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments for customers to visit the dealership and meet with the sales team
- Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Follow up with leads via phone calls, texts, or emails to confirm appointments and provide additional information
- Answer inbound calls and emails, addressing customer inquiries and scheduling requests
- Maintain organized records of customer interactions and appointments
