About The Position

Toyota of Santa Barbara is looking for a BDC Coordinator to be the driving force behind our sales pipeline. In this role, you're the first real connection a customer has with our dealership, and how you handle that connection determines whether it becomes an appointment and eventually a sale. We're not looking for someone who just logs calls and moves on. We want someone who treats every lead like it matters, follows through until it's either booked or truly dead, and keeps our sales team's calendar full of real opportunities.

Requirements

  • Confidence on the phone and stamina for a high call volume
  • Sharp organizational skills; you can juggle dozens of leads without losing track of any of them
  • A genuine drive to grow in the automotive industry
  • Coachable, consistent, and hungry to move up

Nice To Haves

  • BDC, call center, or customer service background is a plus, but we'll train someone with the right attitude

Responsibilities

  • Work internet leads, phone-ups, and CRM follow-up queues to generate qualified appointments
  • Keep our CRM clean and current; updating lead status, notes, and next steps in real time
  • Follow up persistently on unresponsive leads and past customers without letting anything go stale
  • Coordinate directly with sales managers to match appointment flow with floor availability
  • Re-engage no-shows and lost opportunities with a fresh approach
  • Be a professional, energetic first impression of Toyota of Santa Barbara on every call
