About The Position

Berlin City Toyota is looking for a highly motivated, self-driven Sales Associate to join our growing team in Portland, Maine! This role focuses on ensuring an exceedingly high level of customer satisfaction throughout the purchase experience. Responsibilities include responding to sales inquiries, prospecting, and developing potential customers through existing relationships, new contacts, and referrals.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have a favorable motor vehicle record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Treat all customers with a high degree of dignity to ensure that the purchase experience yields a very high level of customer satisfaction.
• Have the drive to prospect and develop potential customers through current relationships, new customers, and customer referrals.
• Have the proven ability to establish and maintain a consistently high level of customer satisfaction as measured by the manufacturer and dealership-sponsored surveys.
• Value the customer experience and possess the ability to discuss terms with clients in a friendly and professional manner while maintaining profit levels at or above company standards.
• Thrive on staying informed and educated on all product model features and benefits.
• Be a dedicated, energetic team player who wants to join our ever-growing network of dealerships.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the purchase experience yields an exceedingly high level of customer satisfaction for every guest.
• Post and respond to vehicle sales inquiries.
• Prospect and develop potential customers through current relationships, new customers, and customer referrals.
• Continuously develop new and qualified customer leads.
• Ensure closed sales are consistent with quotas and sales action plan objectives.
• Establish and maintain a consistently high level of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the technical and performance requirements essential to perform the position.
• Keep informed, establish, maintain, and fine-tune the skills and abilities required to perform the position to the standards set.
• Seek to understand and then comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Perform consistently the duties and responsibilities assigned to the standards and goals established for the position.
