About The Position

Ferman Mazda Brandon is seeking motivated Automotive Sales Associates to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about cars and technology, who are positive, energetic, and driven to achieve financial success by meeting and exceeding sales goals. The position involves building relationships with customers through various communication channels, including in-person interactions, online chat, email, phone, text, and social media. Successful candidates will embrace continuous learning to master product knowledge and effectively guide customers through the sales process.

Requirements

  • Prior automotive or retail sales experience required.
  • Experienced at using CRM software a plus.
  • Comfortable using digital communication tools – social media messaging, email, text in addition to phone.
  • Exceptional Guest service skills required.
  • Excellent verbal & non-verbal skills, listening and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is required.
  • Present a professional and well-groomed appearance.
  • Desire to achieve exceptional Guest Satisfaction scores.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Must have a valid US government issued Driver's License, safe driving record and eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test.

Nice To Haves

  • Bi-lingual with proficiency in both English and Spanish highly desirable.
  • Some college preferred.
  • Regularly engage in continuing education to maintain requirements for manufacturer certifications for product knowledge and technology.

Responsibilities

  • Review online vehicle inventory daily for accuracy on dealer and third-party websites, identifying and troubleshooting discrepancies.
  • Respond to and engage with in-store and online sales inquiries using the CRM tool, online chat, email, text, phone, and social media messaging to understand customer needs and match them with inventory.
  • Film brief vehicle overviews and send them to customers for vehicles of interest.
  • Schedule and confirm customer test drive appointments, prepare vehicles for their arrival, greet customers, and accompany them on test drives to demonstrate features, technology, and optional equipment.
  • Be well-versed in brand product knowledge, competitive product knowledge, and effectively overcome customer objections throughout the sales journey.
  • Regularly communicate with customers until the sale is closed and coordinate the entire transaction from vehicle presentation to pre-finance paperwork.
  • Coordinate sold vehicle delivery to the customer, ensuring they understand vehicle features and warranty.
  • Introduce each customer to the Service Department and schedule their first manufacturer-recommended maintenance appointment.
  • Prospect for new business using the dealership database and networking to identify potential sales opportunities and develop a personal book of repeat business.
  • Update and manage customer profiles in the dealership database.
  • Maintain CSI scores equal to or above manufacturer requirements.
