About The Position

AAA Car Care Plus is hiring experienced Master Automotive Repair Technicians (Level A) across several of their locations in the Columbus, OH market. This role involves handling complex diagnostic and repair work across a broad range of vehicle systems. The position offers a competitive compensation package including a 30-hour weekly billable guarantee, productivity bonus opportunities, and company-paid ASE certification support. One application allows consideration for multiple AAA Car Care Plus shops throughout Columbus, OH.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional automotive repair experience, including advanced diagnostic work.
• Strong knowledge across multiple major vehicle systems.
• Ability to obtain applicable ASE certifications within 12 months when required.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Interest in mentoring and supporting other technicians.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and remain standing for extended periods.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Candidates receiving an offer must successfully complete applicable pre-employment requirements, which may include a background check, drug screening, and fitness-for-duty assessment.

Nice To Haves

• ASE Master Technician certification, dealership certifications, or comparable advanced experience.
• ASE L1 – Advanced Engine Performance Specialist certification.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle concerns, including engine performance, transmission, electrical and electronic systems, steering and suspension, brake systems, heating and air conditioning systems, and advanced drivability concerns.
• Completing repairs according to manufacturer procedures and recognized industry standards.
• Troubleshooting complex vehicle concerns using technical expertise.
• Mentoring and supporting developing technicians and service associates.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
• Continuing to develop technical knowledge through training and certification opportunities.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
