About The Position

Hunter Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Reconditioning Technician to work in Fletcher, North Carolina. The role involves inspecting used vehicles, performing interior and exterior detailing, completing minor reconditioning work, and ensuring vehicles meet quality standards before they reach the lot. The technician also maintains a clean and safe work area, handles chemicals and equipment safely, and moves vehicles around dealership property. Previous detailing or reconditioning experience is preferred, but the company is willing to train a candidate with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Inspect used vehicles to identify cleaning, detailing, and reconditioning needs.
Perform interior and exterior detailing, including washing, vacuuming, carpet extraction, and interior conditioning.
Complete paint correction, buffing, and polishing.
Perform minor reconditioning tasks such as headlight restoration, paint touch-ups, and basic part replacements.
Complete digital checklists to ensure vehicles meet quality standards before reaching the lot.
Keep work areas, wash bays, equipment, and supplies clean and organized.
Handle detailing chemicals and equipment safely.
Move vehicles around the dealership property as needed.
Maintain consistent quality and productivity in a fast-paced environment.
