Automotive Quick Lane Manager
About The Position
The Automotive Quick Lane Manager will oversee all aspects of the Quick Lane operations. This role involves monitoring sales, gross profit, and expenses daily, working closely with other department managers, and handling customer concerns that require management involvement. The manager will also maintain relationships with manufacturer representatives, ensure open repair orders are current, and manage the service department staff through hiring, training, motivation, and performance monitoring. Additionally, maintaining training and certification requirements per manufacturer and dealer standards is crucial. This role may involve prolonged periods of computer usage and data entry.
Requirements
- Prior Service Manager experience at a dealership
- Two or more years in automotive industry required
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license
- Successfully pass drug screen, background and motor vehicle records check
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the Quick Lane
- Monitor sales, gross profit, and expenses on a daily basis
- Work closely with other department managers
- Handle any customer concerns that need management involvement
- Maintain a positive working relationship with manufacturer representatives
- Keep open repairs orders current
