About The Position

Requirements

1+ year of service department experience required
Solid computer skills and willingness to learn new software and repair procedures
Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

Quick Lane or express service background is a plus
Prior Ford dealership experience preferred
Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Assistant Lane Manager, or Service Consultant preferred
Strong automotive knowledge and the ability to assess issues quickly
Proven track record of customer satisfaction

Responsibilities

Greet customers promptly and gather vehicle and customer information to open the visit
Listen to customer concerns and document vehicle symptoms clearly and accurately on the repair order
Recommend maintenance based on vehicle age, mileage, and service history
Prepare complete, accurate estimates for labor and parts
Establish follow-up times and keep customers informed of vehicle status throughout the visit
Confirm that final invoices match completed repair order work before delivery
Explain all services performed and associated charges to customers at pickup
Coordinate loaner vehicle setup and verify insurance when applicable
