About The Position

This role involves comprehensive training in various aspects of the automotive business, including customer relationship management, sales processes, product knowledge, and dealership operations. The training program is designed to equip the Product Specialist with the skills needed to excel in customer interaction, sales, and overall dealership success.

Requirements

  • Be a College Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree (may be eligible in last two semesters)
  • Possess the character and appearance standards of your specific dealership
  • Maintain a positive, wholesome attitude towards life and the sales profession
  • Engage in some kind of self-improvement program regularly
  • Get along well with other employees of the dealership
  • Know how to set objectives or quotas and how to figure a method or program of action to reach those goals
  • Come to work each day with a plan of work for the day
  • Have a positive owner-follow-up system
  • Ability to be openly communicate with management
  • Learn why people buy and how to meet the needs of various types of customers
  • Know the company sales and credit policies
  • Have a thorough product knowledge of your own products and a general knowledge of competitive products
  • Follow a sales plan with every customer

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Customer Retention Management system (CRM)
  • Follow step-by-step guidance on customer interaction
  • Perform daily tasks
  • Engage in product training
  • Work within the Business Development Center (BDC)
  • Complete online manufacturer training
  • Gain knowledge of other dealership departments (Service/Parts/Body Shop)
  • Understand paperwork procedures
  • Grasp the importance of Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI)
  • Practice conflict resolution
  • Learn the inner workings of the automobile business
  • Master the delivery process
  • Implement customer follow-up processes and appointment setting
  • Understand Finance and Insurance (F&I) products
  • Visit other dealerships
  • Set objectives or quotas and develop action plans to achieve them
  • Develop and maintain a positive owner-follow-up system
  • Communicate openly with management
  • Learn why people buy and how to meet customer needs
  • Understand company sales and credit policies
