About The Position

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years' experience as an automotive technician
Strong knowledge of automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostic procedures
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and repair information
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong customer service skills with a team-oriented mindset
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and vehicles
Fast learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies and repair procedures

Responsibilities

Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures
Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
Communicate directly with the Pre-Owned Manager regarding additional service needs and estimated repair times
Execute warranty repairs following manufacturer specifications
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including keeping assigned work areas and vehicles orderly
Collaborate with team members to meet service department goals and customer expectations
