About The Position

Protech Automotive Solutions and its affiliated brands is looking for highly talented, dedicated and quality-focused teammates to provide top tier service to our customers. Porters will be responsible for transporting vehicles, tools, parts, and equipment to necessary locations. This is an entry level position with an opportunity to grow into other roles. Protech Automotive Solutions, has been in business for over 20 years handling multiple types of repairs, from hands on mechanical repair and replacement of suspension, drive modules and frames, to diagnostic opportunities that require advanced knowledge of complicated computerized vehicle control systems. We also handle soft touch repair and replacement of delicate vehicle interior trim components. At Protech, we enjoy a fast paced work environment with challenging advanced skill development. We supply our team with the latest computerized diagnostic equipment, factory diagnostic and programming software components and tools. Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Must be able to lift 60 pounds independently
  • Requires standing for extended periods of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, and stooping
  • Requires frequent driving of company and customer vehicles
  • Extensive travel within assigned area is expected
  • May have exposure to fumes, dust, and chemicals
  • Ability to work in a shop environment in inclement weather
  • Required to wear PPE to include but not limited to facial covering, eye protection, gloves
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

  • Transporting vehicles, tools, parts, and equipment to necessary locations.
  • Customer service oriented
  • Communicate with field team to ensure efficiency and productivity
  • Test drive vehicles after repair and/or ADAS calibrations
  • Transport vehicles, tools, and/or customers as needed during repair process
  • Vehicle clean up may be required
  • Perform other duties as assigned by field leadership
