About The Position

Xcite Automotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) Technician to support our partner dealerships in Hardeeville, SC. This is a hands-on, production-driven role embedded within a dealership environment, focused on OEM-quality dent removal without paint or refinishing. The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of professional PDR experience, thrives in high-volume dealership operations, and consistently delivers precision repairs on customer and inventory vehicles. Compensation is competitive and based on experience, skill level, and demonstrated PDR expertise.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of hands-on professional PDR experience (dealership or high-volume environment required)
  • Proven experience with hail damage repair and complex dent removal
  • Advanced proficiency with PDR rods, glue pulling, knockdowns, blending techniques, and reflection lighting
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, production-focused setting without sacrificing quality
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to precision repairs
  • Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate with dealership staff and managers

Nice To Haves

  • Experience performing complex bodyline and oversized dent repairs
  • Proven success in hail catastrophe or storm restoration environments
  • Experience working with aluminum and high-strength steel panels
  • Ability to produce accurate repair assessments and internal estimates
  • Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS) or repair documentation processes
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed daily production targets
  • Mobile PDR or route-based dealership servicing experience
  • I-CAR or other industry-related training (PDR-focused)

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality paintless dent repair (PDR) on customer and dealership inventory vehicles
  • Repair door dings, creases, bodyline dents, minor collision dents, and hail damage without paint or fillers
  • Accurately assess vehicle damage and determine appropriate PDR repair methods
  • Maintain OEM and dealership quality standards for appearance, safety, and finish
  • Document completed repairs, time billed, and work performed in accordance with dealership processes
  • Work closely with service managers, reconditioning teams, and detail departments to meet turnaround timelines
  • Maintain and properly use PDR tools, lighting systems, and equipment
