About The Position

The Automotive Parts Warehouse Picker stocks and dispenses parts, checks in incoming inventory, prepares parts for delivery or shipment, and helps maintain the parts department receiving area and inventory. The role requires operating a computer and entering data.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must successfully pass a drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle records check.

Responsibilities

• Stock and dispense parts.
• Verify incoming parts against packing slips.
• Notify the parts manager of shortages or overages found when checking in stock, and report damaged goods received.
• Prepare parts for local deliveries and for shipment by common carrier.
• Maintain cleanliness of the parts department receiving area.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Participate in perpetual inventories to assist with inventory control.
• Put stock away in proper locations after orders have been checked in.
• Operate a computer and perform data entry.
