About The Position

We are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family as an Automotive Parts Specialist. This role is a great opportunity for those looking to build a career as a Parts Specialist, offering flexible work hours (day or night), or as a stepping stone to explore other career paths within the company. As a Parts Specialist, you will provide and source parts for specialized equipment for fleet customers, use your parts knowledge to assist team members and customers, and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will interact with management and technicians, ask appropriate questions to ensure correct parts are researched and sourced, and inform customers about parts availability.

Requirements

Valid Driver’s License
Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or at least a willingness to learn all things auto parts
High School Diploma or GED
Technical or Trade school courses or degree
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Great listening skills and empathy for customer
Ability to work on or around an airport environment in a shop environment

Nice To Haves

Background and/or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
Experience in airport ground support equipment
Knowledge of cataloging, sourcing, AND/OR inventory management systems, a plus
Entirely customer-centric (external/internal)
ASE Certifications
Background and knowledge of automotive parts

Responsibilities

Provide and source parts for specialized equipment for our fleet customers
Use your parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members and answer questions for customers
