By joining our Equipment Section as a Automotive Parts Specialist in Pulaski County, you’ll have the opportunity to play a vital role in supporting fleet operations by managing parts inventory, ordering supplies, and supporting maintenance staff .

Requirements

High school graduate.
Must have two years of automotive/truck parts and supply store experience.
Vocational or technical school training in automotive/truck repair or a related area will substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license to qualify for employment in this job classification.
Must maintain any required licensure(s), certification(s), or other credentials for the length of employment in this job classification.

Nice To Haves

Computers skills, in OMS and ability to look up parts online.
Parts management, warehouse operations, recordkeeping.
Working with automotive and heavy equipment parts.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the complete operation of a stockroom within an automotive repair facility.
Order, receive, stock, and issue automotive and equipment parts and supplies.
Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels.
Conduct routine inventory counts.
Make purchases using a procard in accordance with state policies and procedures.
